Invictus

Invictus is an action combat game that puts the player in the blood-soaked sandals of a Roman gladiator fighting in the Colosseum at the height of the Roman Empire. The core concept of the game is based around hard-hitting melee combat and a system of player progression that rewards intense risk-taking.

The player's most important resource is favour, a measure of their standing with the crowd, which is accumulated through risk-taking behaviours such as taunting opponents mid-combat and going into battle unprotected.
